CC content for The Sims Medieval
When I started playing the Sims Medieval game, I was having
trouble finding cc content. I’ll post a list of what I use, maybe it can help
someone.
Everything that I have listed here can be used simultaneously.
Important visual mods for a more beautiful and
realistic world:
·
Lighting mod by Nilxis + Lighting tweaks by Gelina - My favorite lighting mod,
which gives the brightest and most beautiful colors and dynamic shadows that
add realism. I use them together, Gelina
has instructions on how to do this.
·
Milky Way by Nilxis - You can use any default of
stars, this is the most unusual and bright.
·
Realistic Clouds by Nilxis - Very beautiful and realistic
clouds.
·
Moon-Moon by
Potato-Ballad-sims -
At the moment I use this default, it is bright and well combined with lighting
mod.
·
Camera by Shimrod - A much more mobile and
convenient camera, much better than the one originally available in the game.
·
Tower/Clinic Shell No Holes in the
Wall by Shimrod101 + Tower/Clinic
Shell Replacement Walls/Roofs by Shimrod101 - Down with this ruin!
Normal walls of the clinic and the magician’s tower without chips and smudges.
I use the color “Ice”.

Shells No Moss on Roofs

No Grime by
Shimrod101 - The absence of ugly stains on buildings and moss on roofs. The
city will no longer look abandoned.

8k shadows - More
beautiful and clear shadows.
·
Seasons of The Kingdom
- A collection of defaults for simulating the change of seasons
from different authors.
·
Necrotized Pit Beast
by Simmodder99 - A
less bright and cheerful monster from the pit, this is exactly how it should
look.

Mods that diversify the gameplay:

Grim`s Medieval Core by Grimreefer
- The most useful and global mod that allows children to grow up,
retire, adopt children, repaint any object that usually cannot be repainted,
rename characters, enable debugging mode at any time, configure pregnancy of
same-sex couples, lock doors. This mod smooths out
all the angles of the game. I am using the latest version, no problems ever.

AutoCollect
by douglasveiga - A mod that allows you to send a character to collect
any discovered plants with a single click. It is very useful if you do not
remember where the bush that you need for the potion grows. If you like to play
as magicians, spies and healers - you can’t live without it.

Forsaken+Shimrod SocialsBothFullVersions
- A mod that adds a lot of actions for the relationship of two Sims.
Especially often I use “Seduce” and “Knight”. I have a version with autowoohoo.
·
Auto Save
by Grimreefer
- If you constantly forget to save - it is for
you.
·
Books and Medieval Recipes +
Forsaken Recipes - Adds a variety of
new recipes, books and even simulate gardening.
·
Scrab and Sweep floor
by Simmoder99
- Allows any character to sweep and wash the floors. Very cozy action.
·
Dictate laws by Simmodder99 - The opportunity
for the king to dictate laws to the adviser.
·
Collecting stones in the cave and
herbs in the forest - Your cave
and forest will no longer be idle - you can collect ingredients for crafting
there. In the forest, you can get a different color, which can fall out of the
bushes less often with a mod for new ingredients.
·
“Have fun” in the village tavern
- Now you can not only sleep in this tavern.
·
Improved bath
- 3 new bath actions that will add variety to the game. Arrange a spa
day.
·
Play
With Puppets by Shimrod101
- The characters play with rag dolls,
increasing their leisure time. The action is autonomous, which is why everyone
around can start getting them. For myself, I turned off the autonomy in this
action, if anyone needs it, you can get it here.
·
Refresh the bath water
- The action available before only
servants is open to all characters.
·
Read Proclamation - A
new action for the monarch, which increases leisure time.
·
Ring the Bell
- A new action for all the characters,
which increases leisure time.
·
Play With Teddy Bears by
Shimrod101 - A
game with teddy bears, available for adults.

Mods that add more logic to the game:

Well 50 buckets - More
buckets of water in the well, because 15 for an entire kingdom is very small.
·
Call birds less often
by Forsaken - All the townspeople
around are such poultry farmers. The mod removes the autonomous call of birds
at every step.
·
Marriage Gifts by
Forsaken- More useful wedding gifts.
·
Red wine - Replaces
rose wine with a more familiar color.
·
Exp for restringing and for the
sharpen of the sword + Exp for playing the fiddle
+ Whittle Get Exp by
Forsaken - Accrual of experience for actions for which it would be
logical to accrue experience.
·
Populous II: Plus by
Simmoder99 - Your king will have many more servants. do
you want to demand food, and the servant has left? Ask someone else. And it
also looks very good visually. There are guards and servants everywhere in the
castle.
·
40 cells for spells
- A mod so that the
magician can memorize and use all the skills at the same time.
·
Same energy for all beds
- It
is logical, because you can get a great night’s sleep even on the ground.
·
Bear hunting is available for
everyone - I have an option in
which all combat characters can hunt a bear.
·
Joint walks and hunting
- This is from the category of “It’s not
clear why they didn’t do it initially”. Characters can hunt in groups and
invite other characters to join the hunt and walk.

When playing for several characters at once or during the collection,
this helps a lot.
·
Drunk as a Skunk by
Shimrod101 - After 3 glasses, a drunken buff appears.
Mods that change the balance for the better:
·
Improwed barrels -
Free cooking, 30 servings, more than the cost of a drink in the tavern.
·
All spells cost 5 units of energy - Initially,
all spells cost an unfair amount of energy, which is enough for 1-2 spells.
This mod changes that.
·
Large Recipes 12 serves
by Simmoder99 - This
is much more convenient than 4 servings, which are immediately disassembled.
·
Sleep when you want to
- It is very convenient if you want to
sleep in advance or occupy one of the characters with something.
·
More
votes - The standard voting system is simply ugly, no one
ever votes for your decrees. With this mod, your decrees are more often
accepted.
·
Easier interrogation chair
- Another disgusting system in which you
don’t know what to click to make it work. Using the chair becomes much easier.
·
The rich Monarch
- A king should be richer than a knight and a merchant. It is most
expensive to equip the castle. Pay for petitions, for purchases in public
places. I am using a version that includes 6 children.
·
Free time mod
- The mod is very useful for just playing
and enjoying, and not constantly rushing to finish the quest.
·
A new system of fishing
- More realistic fishing, in which the
fish does not disappear from its point. You can queue up actions in one place.
·
Pregnancy is longer/shorter
+ Sweet babies
- I use a pregnancy size of 3 days and babies growing for 7 days.
·
15 % chance of pregnancy
by Shimrod101 - Much less chance of getting pregnant + the characters almost
always make the bed for themselves.
·
Low Fat Sims by
Shimrod101 - Sims don’t get fat after every overeating.
·
Better patrol 50 by Arglaar - This is how
patrolling should actually work.

Helper programs:

RTSS - Limits the fps for smoothness of the game and not to
overload the video card. But there is one THING. Initially, I did not play the
latest version of the game. And it didn’t work for me. So I can say that it
only works on the latest version of the game.

Razer Cortex - closes unnecessary background processes during the
game and speeds up the game.
·

A very necessary thing for identifying duplicates

Allows you to compress custom content

Allows you to view files in the format .package, shows file previews, making it

Download
from the archive.
Unzip the main "The Sims Medieval" zip into wherever you want.
Setup the usual way via "SimsMedievalSetup"
Use the keys Kye dropped to get past the code issue.
Wait for game to properly install.
Here's where this can go sideways. PAY ATTENTION.
I am repeating this so you won't make my mistake:
DO. NOT. USE. THE. LAUNCHER.
This will break your game. It will not work.
You will put in your kingdom name and nothing will happen.
This is because of the patch. Just don't use it.
INSTEAD.
After the game is installed, take the files in the "flt-tsmu20113.zip"
folder and extract them to wherever you want.
Copy these files, and paste them into:
Game/Bin/ (wherever you installed it. For ease of access, I just kept it in the
same download folder)
A warning will come up saying three files like that already exist. REPLACE
THEM.
Use the TSM application to launch the game.
Create a shortcut to TSM on your desktop.
Enjoy :)
You will get a "warning" from Windows on each launch, but if you turn
on "Run as administrator" in the compatibility settings of the exe,
it should go away.
